If you want to Transfer a Domain INTO / TO HostingCheck -
We need the following:
1. You need to UNLOCK your Domain at your Current Domain Registration Company.
2. You need the Auth / EPP Code for your Domain from your Current Domain Registration Company.
3. Make sure the Domain is Paid and in good standing (In other words, you cannot have Past Due bills, etc. with the Domain Registration Company - otherwise they can hold the Domain).
4. Check your account for WHOIS PRIVACY settings. If the WHOIS / CONTACT info is set to PRIVATE - the domain cannot be transferred. You must disable the privacy to transfer the domain.
5. Verify that the WHOIS REGISTRANT CONTACT information is all CURRENT and Up to date - most important is the EMAIL ADDRESS!!! An Authorization/Confirmation Email will be sent to this email address (it can ONLY be sent there) and you must click on a link in that email to Authorize / Confirm the transfer.
